One of the oldest School in Portugal and Cascais, Carcavelos Surf School was founded in 2001 at Carcavelos Beach, certified by Tourism of Portugal, by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS), and distinguished over the last few years with TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence.
With high quality Surf Gear and a large supply of surfboards and wetsuits, Carcavelos Surf School has fantastic facilities at 2 different beaches, Carcavelos and Costa da Caparica (just across the bridge to the other side of the Tagus River and 20min from Lisbon).
Casablanca Beach Lounge at Praia do Infante (Costa da Caparica), where you can eat a delicious and fresh local grilled fish while enjoying a stunning view of the cliff and the Atlantic Ocean.
Windsurf Café at Carcavelos Beach (Cascais), keeping the cool vibe of this beach and a good ambient music selection, in here you can taste one of the best and delicious Açaí nearby (an energetic berry and superfood from Amazónia/Brazil) , or try some natural, healthy and tasty snacks, toasts, wrpas, burgers, smoothies...
Our daily Group Surf Lessons are organized by ages and surf experience (from beginner to expertise), and we usually have an max. of 5 people per Surf Instructor. Surf Lessons will be led mainly in English, but we can also provide them in French or Spanish.
With a big passion for Surfing, our friendly and experienced crew of Surf Instructors are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS) and Portuguese Sport’s Institute (IPDJ). With a unique approach, they’re the best on the mission to provide you the best Surfing experience teaching you the proper techniques and allowing you to have loads of fun while doing it.
